"We have had an amazing experience this summer. Considering we only joined Lingoo a few weeks before the exchange we could not have hoped for a better one. They were super hosts and our daughter immediately felt at home, cared for and entertained in a truly immersive way. She got to know the wider family and a beautiful part of Spain When we hosted immediately following our daughter's visit it was so easy and we had a lovely time; lots of laughs, visits and fun experiences. It was a 100% positive time from start to finish - we are only sad that it is over! We would absolutely recommend it!"

"J’ai passé 18 nuits chez Gigi et Jon pour améliorer mon anglais : une expérience exceptionnelle. Je suis passé d’un niveau A2+ fragile à un niveau B2 grâce à des cours parfaitement adaptés : discussion orale, vocabulaire, compréhension écrite, grammaire et expression écrite. Gigi a vite ciblé mes besoins et m’a même proposé un questionnaire après la 1ère semaine pour ajuster les cours. J’ai découvert Londres de fond en comble, visité des lieux variés et rencontré seul un ami de Gigi travaillant dans un secteur qui m’intéresse. Le soir, nous regardions des films soigneusement choisis par Jon, et ils s'adaptaient à moi lorsque je voulais faire autre chose. Je participais à des dîners avec leurs amis, moments idéaux pour progresser naturellement. La nourriture était excellente, toujours adaptée à mes envies, et j’ai pu cuisiner plusieurs plats et desserts. Ce séjour m’a permis de progresser rapidement, découvrir Londres, créer de précieux contacts et partager une vraie vie de famille."

"Ich habe mich in der Gastfamilie von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie haben mich sehr willkommen geheissen und in ihrer Familie herzlich aufgenommen. Die Familie hat mit mir viel unternommen. Wir gingen ans Meer, besuchten Brüssel, machten Ausflüge in der Region und betätigten uns sportlich. Wir haben viel miteinander geredet, gelacht und Spiele gespielt. Die zwei Wochen verflogen im Nu. Ich bin sehr dankbar für diese schöne und interessante Zeit."

Ghislaine is a great guide for local treks and I really enjoyed the opportunity to discover the beautiful mountain landscapes with her. They were both warm and friendly and welcomed me into their home for the week. We ate delicious meals accompanied by good French conversation in a beautiful alpine setting. "

"Ce fut une très belle expérience de partir en Angleterre et réaliser cet échange. Malgré une attente de plus d'un an pour trouver une correspondante, cet échange s'est réalisé en 3 semaines de contact et d'échange par mail. Lingoo permet d'accéder à des profils, et nous pouvons ensuite discuter des modalités d'échange avec la famille correspondante. Nous sommes ravis de cet échange, nos filles se sont bien entendues. Ma fille a été très bien accueillie en retour, des journées bien remplies ont été proposées, et des progrès en anglais ont été réalisés. Merci à lingoo et à cette famille très sympathique."

"Notre fils Axel (18 ans) a passé une superbe semaine d'immersion dans la famille de Juliette. Il a participé à leur vie de famille, fait des balades en vélos, des rencontres avec leur famille et a même assisté à un match de cricket de leur fille Georgie. En tenant compte de ses centres d'intérêt, Juliette l'a emmené visiter Cambridge, le musée de l'ordinateur et également accompagné de Georgie, il a pu découvrir Londres 2 jours de suite. Sa compréhension et son aisance en anglais ont réellement progressé. Petit bonus, ils ont une belle maison avec jardin et Axel disposait d'une grande chambre avec des sanitaires privés. Les échanges avec Juliette se sont vraiment très bien passés et nous étions en totale confiance . Nous sommes vraiment très contents d'avoir choisi Juliette et sa famille pour ce premier séjour en immersion et Axel en garde un très souvenir. Je la conseille à toutes les personnes désireuses de faire un séjour en immersion one to one. "

"I stayed with Michelle and Matt for two weeks this June and I was truly enthusiastic about the experience. The positive aspects of this family are endless. During the day we visited different parts of the city, museums, or places around Nottingham. Meanwhile, Michelle provided lots of information about the history and features of Nottingham. All the services offered went far beyond what I could have imagined before leaving. The room was lovely, as was the house, located in a great neighbourhood with natural areas nearby. Michelle is a great cook and the food was varied and delicious. As for my English, the improvement was impressive. I often had the chance to meet other family members, giving me more opportunities to talk and practise. Michelle and Matt are simply adorable: always kind and helpful in every situation. The best host family one could hope for. They will always be my “mum” and “dad”."

"Mein Sohn wurde in der Familie von Sophie sehr herzlich aufgenommen und aufmerksam betreut. Er wurde in das Familienleben direkt einbezogen und wie ein weiteres Kind behandelt. Die Familie unternahm viele Aktivitäten und Ausflüge, spielte Gesellschaftsspiele und kochte mit meinem Sohn. Dabei konnte er grosse Fortschritte in der Zielsprache machen und die französischen Kultur kennen lernen. Der Kontakt und die Organisation mit der Familie war unkompliziert, pragmatisch und sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft sehr grosszügig und sauber. Mein Sohn hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt, es gibt nichts, was ich bemängeln möchte. Ich kann die Familie nur empfehlen! "

"I have just finished my stay with Elisabet and John. My stay has been a beautiful surprise on many levels. Elisabet has been a very helpful, dedicated, encouraging teacher and mentor. She is also a very kind person. John was very conscientious about using Spanish with me even though he's a native English speaker and teacher. The location of their spacious, vintage home is between the stunningly beautiful and majestic mountains of Asturias, in a small, peaceful hamlet with very friendly neighbors. I really hope to be able to repeat this experience. Needless to say that Elisabet worked hard to help me improve my Spanish and my attitude toward continuing my journey of learning this beautiful language. "
