Ralston est une personne de toute confiance, chaleureuse et pédagogue. Notre fils de 17 ans a passé avec Ralston et sa femme un excellent séjour. Nous recommandons très vivement.

Raulston and Sherine were very friendly and I enjoyed my stay. I (german) was there with a french student. I improved my engl. a lot by speaking only. Raulston motivated me in a good way to speak.

Fanny a passé un super séjour. la famille étaient très disponible ,il l'ont emmené à un concert , un jeu télévisé , au restaurants ,ETC. elle ne c'est jamais ennuyée et a beaucoup progressée

"Hello, my name is Ralston and I have been teaching for 20 years at High School level to students between the ages of 11 to 18 years. I live in North London with my wife Sherine and have two grown up children. I love all types of music and play the guitar. I am an active sportsman and coach in many sports. You will be welcome to join me at my tennis and squash club, and I can offer you access and support to a range of sports and fitness activities. We make the most of living in London, and our home will be a fantastic base for you to learn English, experience London’s vibrant culture and have some fun!
I have now retired from school and have starting hosting students from abroad. We have hosted students from many countries including France, Russia, Germany, Italy, Spain and Hong Kong . I love teaching. My approach is to build a rapport with students, to ensure they are relaxed, feel cared for and safe. These qualities ensure a great learning environment and all my language students have made fantastic progress while they have been with us. I will assess your level and tailor a teaching programme to suit you. My methods and resources, audio, visual and experiential learning ensure variety and interest.
Sherine my wife is an HR consultant and works from home. She is a keen reader, swimmer and great cook. I have two grown up children Jade, who lives and works in Barcelona and Jaz who is a sound engineer lives in London. We have lots of friends and family who visit regularly and if you enjoy meeting people of all ages and backgrounds you will love being in our home.
Our home is in a lovely part of north London 10 minutes walk from Oakwood underground station which gets you into central London. Opposite our house are riding stables and Trent Country Park. Nearby is Enfield Town, a 15 minute bus ride and all the attractions of central London are on your doorstep. I can provide you with advice on visiting attractions or can accompany you to attractions in London and the south east - for example Trafalgar Square, Windsor Castle or Safari Park.
We have one double bedroom and a guest living room with a sofa bed which can sleep two. There is a private bathroom for guests. We have a large garden backing on to fields with grazing horses, and lots of green space and parks around us. For example and the end of our road is a lake with ducks which visitors love to walk to after dinner.
