My son Sacha had a great time at Wendy's. Her lessons were very beneficial to him, and the activities were both enriching and entertaining. He also enjoyed the city and its inhabitants, who were often willing to chat with him. At last (but not least) , he appreciated Giuseppe's cooking skills.

My daughter has a very good stay with Wendy.
Wendy and her husband were very nice .
Very good English lessons every day with Wendy and great activities for teenagers all around.
My daughter had a beautiful room and the food was good.
We really highly recommend a stay at Wendy’s.

Wendy and her husband have been wonderful host for Leonard. He enjoyed his stay so much that he asked to go back next summer !

Nostra figlia di 14 anni è tornata dalla sua prima esperienza all'estero molto entusiasta e con un grado di inglese molto migliorato.
Sono stati 14 giorni intensi, oltre alle ottime lezioni di inglese, nostra figlia ha potuto partecipare alla vita famigliare quotidiana.

Nostro figlio di 15 anni è tornato molto entusiasta da questa esperienza.
14 giorni fantastici; lezioni e vita famigliare gli hanno permesso di migliorare molto il suo grado di comprensione e conversazione
La famiglia lo ha trattato come fosse figlio loro.

Juliane a passé un super séjour chez Wendy. L'accueil de toute la famille a vraiment été génial. Juliane n'a par ailleurs pas vu le temps passé pendant les cours, qu’elle a beaucoup appréciée. Un grand merci donc à Wendy, son mari et sa fille qui ont permis à Juliane de passer deux belles semaines

"I am a highly qualified teacher [Cambridge University Masters Degree, TEFL] offering home stays with English lessons in the beautiful market town town of Beverley. Our home is just a short 10 minute walk from the town centre and all its facilities, which include shops, pubs, restaurants, cinema, art gallery, theatre, sports centre and cinema .
I am experienced in all areas of EFL teaching including General English, Young Learner and Exam Preparation [FIRST CERTIFICATE, IELTS]. I am also a fully qualified Secondary School teacher [P.G.C.E.], with Foreign Languages specialism. I speak French, Spanish and Italian. As your teacher, I am friendly and patient and I can help you to progress quickly by designing you a personalized English course that targets your needs.
We are happy to welcome more than one student under 18 - for example, two friends or parent and child. Please also ask about the possibility of a shared stay with another student who does not speak your language. For stays in June/July there is also the opportunity for school-aged students to spend a day in a local Secondary School. I offer full preparation for exams such as CAMBRIDGE FIRST CERTIFICATE and IELTS -the preferred English language qualification for UK universities. I can prepare you for all four modules - reading, writing, listening and speaking and also arrange for you to take the exam at a local centre.
During your stay you will be able to share our typical family life with my husband and our 22 year old daughter. We live in a pretty house within walking distance of the town centre. Beverley is a historic and traditional market town in the region of East Yorkshire, with many individual shops and restaurants.
We offer accompanied excursions to the nearby city of York, a major tourist destination, and to the Yorkshire Coast and National Park. We also offer British culture excursions such as historic house visits with picnic, traditional Afternoon Tea, Fish and Chips at the seaside and visit to a traditional country Pub. Cinema and Shopping trips are also available.
At home you will have a private room and study area and you will share delicious home-cooked meals with my family. My husband is a fully-qualified Chef and can also offer cookery lessons.
To facilitate your travel arrangements we offer an airport pick-up and drop-off service to the following airports: Manchester, Leeds-Bradford and East Midlands. Other airports may be available on request."
