"I am a highly qualified teacher [Cambridge University Masters Degree, TEFL] offering home stay with or without English lessons in the beautiful town of Beverley.
I am experienced in all areas of EFL teaching including General English, Young Learner and Exam Preparation [IELTS, FIRST CERTIFICATE]. I am also a fully qualified Secondary School teacher [P.G.C.E.], with Foreign Languages specialism. I speak French, Spanish and Italian. As your teacher, I am friendly and patient and I can help you to progress quickly by designing you a personalized English course that targets your needs.
We are happy to welcome more than one student- for example, two friends or parent and child. For older students I offer full exam preparation for exams such as First Certificate and IELTS -the preferred English language qualification for UK universities. I can prepare you for all four modules - reading, writing, listening and speaking and also arrange for you to take the exam at a local centre.
During your stay you will be able to share our typical family life with my husband who is a business owner and our 19 year old daughter. We live in a pretty house within walking distance of the town centre. Beverley is a historic and traditional market town in the region of East Yorkshire, with many shops and restaurants.
You can also go on excursions to the nearby city of York, a major tourist destination, and to the Yorkshire Coast and National Park. We also plan British culture excursions such as picnics in the grounds of historic houses, traditional Afternoon Tea, Fish and Chips at the seaside and visit to a Country Pub. Cinema and Shopping trips are also available.
At home you will have a private room and study area and you will share delicious home-cooked meals with my family. My husband is a fully-qualified Chef and can also offer cookery lessons.
To facilitate your travel arrangements we offer an airport pick-up and drop-off service to the following airports: Manchester, Leeds-Bradford and Liverpool. Other airports may be available on request."
