"My spouse and I have two sons. Our elder son is currently an undergraduate at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, while our younger son was born in Berkeley, California, and is about to start 9th grade at the Affiliated High School of Jinan University. We warmly welcome children from all over the world to engage in cultural exchanges. Having studied and lived in the United States, our family has a global perspective and mindset, and we hope that our children will further understand and integrate into the world.
Every weekday, my wife and I drive to the hospital for work. My wife works for four hours during the day and then returns home. I am a doctor, professor, and researcher at the hospital, dedicated to patient health, nurturing medical students, and contributing to medical research. When we have time, my wife and I enjoy watching movies, cycling, hiking, running, swimming, and photography with our children. We also travel several times a year.
Our home is in Guangzhou, one of the largest and most developed cities in southern China. The city boasts a comprehensive transportation network, including high-speed trains, airplanes, ships, and subways, and we have a private parking space. At my workplace, we also have our own apartment, and both my wife and I have parents who live nearby in their own apartments. On weekends, we visit our parents when we have free time. Our son studies entirely in English at university, and I also teach international students in English at the university. Additionally, I have engaged in long-term language and cultural exchanges with many foreigners in the United States.
Every week, we have family dinners in Guangzhou, the culinary capital of China. Cantonese cuisine, one of the eight major Chinese cuisines, is a staple in our meals. We also enjoy cooking Hunan cuisine, another renowned culinary tradition."
