"We are looking for a German speaking exchange student for our 14 year old son Seamus (he will be 15 this week ) Seamus has just finished his second year of secondary school and has been studying German. He is now keen to spend some time in Germany learning more. He is very sporty and plays hurling and Gaelic Football two popular Irish sports – He also enjoys table tennis and basketball. Seamus has two brothers Hugh (13) and Ciaran (11) both of whom will be sailing for the summer when school finishes – We will holiday in the north west of Ireland in Donegal with my parents and James’s mother. Both James and myself have university degrees- I studied Economics and now work part time in property but I do not work during the summer – James is a barrister and works in the city. We speak English at home. I have no german and James has a very limited amount. We visited the black forest region earlier this year and stayed in Gengenbach – We had a wonderful time cycling and traveling on trains. There is a language school nearby which your child could attend during their stay with us if they wished – Seamus would be able to attend German classes in the same school also "
