Finding the right host is important. We help you choose who you stay with based on location, lifestyle, interests (and even diet or religion). Our aim is to help you find a language partner so right for you that, through the learning experience, you might easily become friends.

Using Lingoo, you have more control and don’t need to use an expensive agency or residential English language school; you can search, select the English speaking host family or language exchange family in England that fits best with you or your child and then directly organise a tailored and enjoyable language learning study holiday.

If you are thinking of adding some English lessons during your stay, many host families will also help you to organise a language course for your or your child with a local English teacher or language school.

Alternatively, staying in the home of a teacher is a new, intensive way to eat, sleep and breathe your English learning. Your teacher provides meals and accommodation together with formal or informal lessons tailored to your level of English and designed to help you widen your language skills and build understanding.
