We are fun, young, hosts who can offer a unique experience for anyone who wants to study English whilst staying with us.
We can create a specific English Homestay package for you and your child - tell us what kind of experience you want and we will try our best to make it. If you have any hobbies or activities, that you would like to do, just let us know and we can combine those with your study.
Kelsey, and I, are very enthusiastic hosts who would love you to join us, in our home, for your English learning experience. We are both experienced English teachers who have worked in Thailand and Vietnam teaching children aged 4-16 years old.
We can share our knowledge, with learners, who would like to spend time in the UK practicing their English every day. We love exploring the countryside and take our students on beautiful walks around Cumbria and the Lake District.
Ulverston is a quaint market town with old fashioned values and friendly local people. When taking a walk, down the cobbled streets, you feel like you have been transported back in time. We are surrounded by beautiful green hills and situated close to the Lake District National Park - one of England's most beautiful locations.
We offer our students English lessons in the morning followed by activities in the afternoon. We can do five lessons and, at least, three excursions per week. Lessons are created around the student's language learning goals. Our afternoon activities are a great opportunity to practice, what we've studied, in real life situations.
All meals are 100% vegetarian, with no eggs or dairy, and created using healthy ingredients. We will create plant-based versions of some traditional British meals, such as; full English breakfast and Roast Dinner. Meals are enjoyed together, and we encourage our students to join in conversation around the dinner table and discuss the day's events. Check out our photos to see the delicious food that we prepare.
Our philosophy is that students learn best when they are fully immersed and having fun!
