"Our previous hosting experiences have been lovely ones! We had Callie a 16 years old Canadian girl from Toronto for 2 weeks 2 years ago and Lucia, a 14 years old Spanish girl, last March for 1 week.
We all loved these moments, playing and talking all together, discovering other cultures and sharing ours!!!
We live a few kilometers from the Ocean, the Pilat Dune, Arcachon Bay, aquatic park, cinema, bowling,... and also 35 mns from Bordeaux, an amazing town full of cultural visits or pedestrian streets for shopping days out!
Our 3 girls, Marine, Camille and Chloé, like playing board games (with me!), reading, crafting, sewing ... 2 of them play the guitare. They all like baking cakes! with or without my help, depending the age!
My husband, Arnaud, has started his own business 3 years ago after working 18 years for Air France and is now in charge of 2 coffee shops "Columbus Café and co" around Bordeaux.
I have also decided to start a "new life" after working for 20 years for Air France, and am now an English teacher for children in schools (from 3 to 12), for teenagers and adults!
My grandmother was English and I went to my Yorkshire family every French School holidays (and they are many!) so I know exactly how lovely it is to be between 2 cultures!
I want French children to enjoy learning English and using English words in games or worsheets that I prepare and share with them, and I would love to do the same with you if you would like French lessons on top of your stay with us!
I also do a lot of sewing for Christmas markets and share this passion with my daughters when they have time so of course I would be happy to share it with you if you fancy!
