"Our daughter Laetitia would very much like to exchange with a young girl of a similar age to hers, with whom she would have affinities.
She would like to improve her English, Spanish, German... but also meet sincere, happy and generous people. Of course, we would be delighted to welcome home your daughter, and help her progress in French, while making her discover our region and our country.
We live on the Cote d'Azur (the French Riviera), on the edge of the Mediterranean that we love for its light and landscapes, between sea and mountains.
Your daughter could take classes in her class, if the exchange takes place during school period. In any case, we could make visit the region, the cities of Nice, Antibes, Monte-Carlo... and the surrounding areas.
During the week, we live in a small village of the 16th century, quiet and secure, close to the technopole of Sophia-Antipolis. On weekends, we go to Nice (located 45 minutes from Valbonne, by car), where we have another apartment, to see our parents, enjoy the sea (from June to November), the city, walk, ...
We often go on a trip to Europe and like to take the time to discover the cities, their history ... We regularly go to Italy (the border is very close and it would be possible to make some excursions) and Spain (we have a family home and spend there a part of our summer).
Laetitia will start her "première" (2nd year of high school), in an international section, and is taking courses in German (B2), in addition to English (B1). She starts in Spanish but loves to discover new people and cultures. It is therefore as much about linguistic exchanges as about human encounters :)
In addition to travel and sports, our daughter (an excellent student) loves to read and to learn, to make artistic work as well as to play theatre and music (she plays the piano), to sing and to dance, to swim or just walk....
She is a cheerful, generous and curious girl, among other qualities (although I may lack objectivity since I am her father ...), and she likes to understand people.
Laetitia’s mother, a notary, also advises families, and I teach philosophy in the superior.
We are non-smokers, rather sporty and flexitarian (all menus are then possible at home...).
My wife and my daughter being both empathetic and caring people, I am sure that your daughter would feel at ease during her stay with us, like our former hosts (a Finnish and a German girl) did.
We whish you a nice day
