Why does Lingoo use Verified ID and a proof of address?
Lingoo puts members’ security at the top of our priorities. So as part of the validation process for new users joining our community we ask for information to validate their identity and address.
Please note, Lingoo does not visit or verify any homes in person. We do, however, check all identity documents in person.
Our community members tell us that Verified ID is highly useful when deciding who to interact with on Lingoo, providing added reassurance. But remember, it is not an endorsement or guarantee of someone’s identity.
Like security, we also take privacy seriously. So the information you provide during this process is encrypted and governed by our Privacy Policy. All members are encouraged to take the time to get to know each other using our secure messaging system.
