Who are our Host Families?
Host Families are what make a language homestay special. They not only provide comfortable accommodation and home-cooked meals, but also warmly welcome guests into their home as part of the family. This means sharing everyday life — from outings and family activities to daily routines and personal interests — so that guests quickly feel at home.
Hosts may also offer additional services, such as meeting guests at the airport or station, providing laundry facilities, accommodating special dietary needs, or helping to organise a language course, in order to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
Our hosts (who must be over 18 years of age) range from traditional families (two adults with one or more children) to single-parent families, young couples without children, retired couples, and individuals who live alone.
Hosts are expected to ensure that guests are properly welcomed and supported throughout their stay. To make the experience even more enjoyable, hosts and guests are encouraged to match their interests before booking.
