How else does Lingoo maintain member security?
To protect member credit card details and other personal information, Lingoo uses the same world-class industry standard security technologies as those used by sites like Amazon and Netflix. For example, we use secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (aws.amazon.com), a Safe Harbour Certified service, which is also used to host Amazon’s own site as well as Netflix, Pinterest and Airbnb.
We use these technologies to ensure your details can’t be read by anyone else.
Technically speaking, credit card payments and users’ personal information are only transmitted using SSL-secure encryption. HTTPS (HTTP over SSL) is the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or Transport Layer Security (TLS) as a sublayer under regular HTTP application layering. HTTPS encrypts and decrypts user information. So when we receive your personal information, we store it in a secure and encrypted form. Only a small number of our authorised validation staff can view your documents during the validation process.
We also never store credit card details on our server.
Your information is held under our Privacy Policy.
