How will the Host Family or Teacher be paid?

Lingoo collects all payments from Guests due to Hosts directly from the Guest during the reservation process.
This payment is made in one or two payments, depending on the date of the booking, and the method of payment. The booking is confirmed once the payment has been received.
Lingoo sends the Host 70% of the Guest’ s payment on the first day of the stay, and the remaining 30% one day after the end of the stay. If the Host has requested payment in their local currency (instead of EUR), Tipalti will complete the foreign exchange on their behalf. This guarantees that the Guest does not have to send funds directly to their Host and potentially incur expensive bank charges, and that the Host receives exactly the amount they have requested.
