Traditional classroom learning of French has fallen in recent years. According to the British Council, the number of students taking an A-level in the subject has fallen from 21,300 to 8,300 per year over the past two decades. However, learning French on a homestay is rising in popularity.

Immersion is considered the best way to learn a new language. As a result, our travel habits are beginning to change; more and more of us are choosing to use homestays when we travel overseas.
