"I try to encourage guests to take part in whatever is going on locally and to meet other Irish people so if, for example, there is a local walking group having activities, and we can spend a couple of hours with local Irish people out walking. We have many activities like that and try to organise things that you enjoy already - or try new things!
There is also surfing taught in Strandhill, which is just a few kilometres away, and sailing lessons. We have close access to beautiful beaches, and horse riding stables are close by if students are interested. We love cycling and there are lots of lovely places to get to by bike.
We are just a short walk into the town of Sligo, which has a cinema and the usual shops and cafes. We're also in walking distance of our local swimming pool, and tennis too.
There are lots of cultural festivals in the area in the summer so always lots to do.
